Ground Labs is a privately owned and financed software company focused on providing data discovery, primarily as a means to achieve regulatory compliance. It was founded in 2008, has around 60 employees, and has a global presence with offices in the USA, Australia, Ireland and Singapore.

In October 2019, the company launched a strategic partnership program – ‘powered by Ground Labs’ – with the goal of seamlessly delivering Ground Labs sensitive data discovery alongside partner products, and in particular products in adjacent spaces such as data security. In this context it has announced a partnership with Thales that will be the first of these strategic partnerships.
