Greg van der Gaast
Greg started his career setting off an international incident by hacking a nuclear weapons facility and then working undercover for the US government. Eventually becoming a CISO building effective security programmes for hot startups and Fortune 500s alike, his experiences led him to be an industry contrarian proposing novel approaches and ways of gaining strategic value from technology. He is the author of ‘Rethinking InfoSec’ and ‘What We Call Security’. In addition to his speaking and advisory work, he is currently the Chief Technologist for Security at CDW, the world’s largest technology VAR.
