IDBLUE (an operating unit of Cathexis Innovations) specialises in mobile Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) HF and UHF solutions. IDBLUE is a founding member of Microsoft’s RFID Partner Advisory Council.

The company’s flagship product, IDBLUE R8.HF, was the world’s first Bluetooth-enabled, mobile RFID reader. Its compact, pen-shaped design is well-suited to work in mobile situations where Smartphone, PocketPC™ or TabletPC™ based applications are in use. There is now a similar UHF reader.
