The Sage Group plc announced at the end of last week that it has entered into a global agreement with Salesforce where Sage will use Salesforce’s Customer Success Platform to provide data management systems to enhance Sage’s internal systems architecture. The aim is to improve operations and enhance view of customers. Additionally, under the agreement, Sage will undertake development work on the Salesforce1 platform to extend its capability in delivering cloud solutions to the small and medium-sized companies market. Santiago Solanas, Chief Marketing Officer of Sage, said: “This agreement demonstrates our approach of partnering with world-class platform providers to provide more compelling cloud solutions for this ecosystem.”
Interesting point in the last point about using Salesforce1 platform after the previous announcement of the Group. We could be seeing a rewrite of Sage’s low end products for the Cloud on Salesforce1.
