Test data management largely exists to address the question of how to efficiently and securely leverage production data in test environments. Notable challenges include the need to discover and anonymise sensitive production data, and the desire to minimise the physical size of your test data sets (thus making it practical to deliver them quickly, repeatedly and at scale) without compromising the efficacy of your testing.
In this paper, we describe and compare three prominent solutions within the test data management space: Delphix DevOps Data Platform, Mage and Redgate SQL Provision.
