Access Group has announced the launch of a new dedicated division specifically focused on the not-for-profit (NFP) sector. They have appointed Rob Barr, previously of Iris and Epicor, as divisional director for the NFP arm. Barr said, “As a company Access stands out from the crowd and is in a perfect position to establish itself as the number one supplier to the UK not-for-profit market. My role is to build on the fantastic work that’s already taking place, to maximise potential and further support not-for-profit organisations.”
With 15 per cent of top tier charities already using Access solutions and more than 820 third sector customers in total, it has a solid base on which to grow. The acquisition of thankQ means Access now offers integrated financials and CRM fundraising. Added to this base are Access’s HR and payroll solutions and the recently launched Access aCloud platform which includes expenses, document management and business intelligence for finance professionals as well as team management and absence planning with TeamSeer.
This announcement shows the intent of Access towards providing application support to a sector where money is tight, but the needs are the same as for any other organisation.
