- Annual Bloor Symposium
- Executive programme events such as roundtables, workshops and seminars
- Executive peer-to-peer networking events
- Tele-briefings and Webinars
- We have close relationships with many of the most successful CIOs around the world
- The calibre of our facilitator, often an ex-CIO, will create a frank, honest, and constructive atmosphere where you can gain the insight into what your target audience thinks.
- Being vendor, media & research agnostic, we are recognised by the CIO community as an independent voice, able to create mutually-beneficial conversations between CIOs and vendors

Intel, Barcelona - Living in a parallel world
Event Navigation
At Bloor we are convinced that multicore is both the latest crisis facing computing (because it isn’t going away and coding for platforms where several things can happen at once and you must ensure that they run in the right order, is hard) and a huge opportunity. Being able to do many things at once should help you provide a richer, more comfortable, end-user experience; it should promote “green computing and better utilisation of electricity; and it might let you think of radically new ways of doing things.
Living in a parallel world needn’t be stressful as long as you consciously start to “think parallel” and manage people’s expectations; if you get training and tools to help you cope with parallel processing; if you try to visualise what is going on (not just inside the PC but also the end user experience); and, if you are prepared to think out of the box a bit. Visualisation of what is going on in a parallel architecture just might be the key to the whole thing.
