Symplified’s services are aimed at extending access for employees to external applications, utilising data from existing data stores. It provides strong support for social identities and can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise.

It has shown strong levels of innovation to round out its services and recently received another round of funding. This will allow it both to expand its services and to further the international expansion that it began a couple of years ago. It places less emphasis on the use of SAML than some of its competitors and has a strong focus on its proprietary federation technology.
